Peanut Butter Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch pre-made graham cracker crust
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Chocolate syrup or chopped peanuts for topping (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Crust:
- If you haven’t already, take out your pre-made graham cracker crust and set it aside.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Whip the Cream:
- In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Combine and Mix:
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully incorporated. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream too much.
- Fill the Crust:
- Pour the peanut butter filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Chill:
- Place the pie in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Serve:
- Once
the pie is set, you can optionally drizzle chocolate syrup over the top or sprinkle chopped peanuts for added flavor and decoration.
